Paper Citizen is a Boston-based indie rock band that illuminates rooms with warm vocal melodies, intimate lyrics and a spacious, modern rock feel to their music. Written in 2015, Slow Motions was recorded over the fall of 2016 in various different studios in Boston. Fronted by musician and producer Claire Gohst (vocals, violin, guitar), the band's present lineup includes Francesca Impastato (drums, potato enthusiast), Abram Lembono (keys, good hair), and Filipe Antunes (bass, unmatched smoothness). The band gigs regularly around the Greater Boston area. Their first EP, titled Postcards In Transit is now available online. Paper Citizen was voted Deli Magazine’s “New England Emerging Artist of the Month” for October 2016, and has been nominated in the 2017 New England Music Awards for the category of 'New Act of the Year'.
