Light Waves is a collaborative album between Japanese singer-songwriters, LUCA and There is a fox. Born in Berkeley, California, LUCA is a singer-songwriter based in Tokyo. Her work includes vocals on Ryuichi Sakamoto's album "async", as well as some recent work with haruka nakamura. There is a fox, the solo project of singer-songwriter Hirotaka Makino has been involved in projects such as Carlos Niño's Turn On The Sunlight and collaborative writing with Mark Redito on the track "At Fault." There is a fox is currently based in Kyoto, after living in Canada and California for most of his life. After meeting in 2018 in Kyoto, song writing began while they have occasionally performed in shows together.
