Fusway, (pronounced Foo-sway) born and raised out of ATL, fell in love with music at the young age of 15. An avid sportsman since the age of four, Fusway was an all-season player in football, basketball, and baseball all throughout his schools. A growing star, his dreams of becoming a professional player was on the forefront of his mind that’s until real life hit. It all started with the untimely death of his grandmother. You see, she was the one that Fusway was most closes to. She was the rock in the family, the glue that held everyone together like most urban families. After her passing, Fusway looked for answers about this thing called life. Losing family members to the corrections system and losing others dear to him year after year, Fusway was tired of the pain and sorrow brought on by life. He had to find a way to release his pain. Playing sports wasn’t cutting it anymore. His only outlet….music!

Fast forward five years and after listening to Lil Wayne’s, “The Carter”, Fusway immersed himself into the music industry. Starting a duo rap group with his best friend, he was able to release years of pain and tears into his music. He was able to feel something different while writing and rapping. Working his way through the industry, the hard work didn’t go unnoticed. The group was able to secure their first independent deal. After producing unheard music, the situation didn’t pan out, forcing Fusway to disband from the group and head into the solo route. During this transition, Fusway was able find his style, “his lane”. Having learned his lessons over the years, going through trials and errors, he is now ready to be thrust into the spotlight and give his fans his story!
