Jennifer McGill is a singer who has performed in front of audiences around the world, performing with talented individuals including Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Ryan Gosling, Danny Gokey, Boyz II Men,  Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake. Jennifer began her career at age 10 as a Mousekateer on The Disney Channel‘s New Mickey Mouse Club. And now, Jennifer is releasing her first ever, solo project, Unbreakable. The first single is the title track from the project. The single, Unbreakable, was co-written by Jennifer. Unbreakable celebrates the first moment of peace after the battle. I wanted to write about a first glimpse of victory through the blood, sweat and tears it took to get to that raw but victorious place. I wanted to pay homage to my favorite action movies, as well as capture a realistic perspective of what it feels like to pick myself up after so much has fallen away, and check who’s left to stand with me on the battlefield. In this life, I see allies like my husband, family, friends, and fans standing strong and close. There is a “power of us” shared with each of our allies. Spiritually, God is my one ally who has always been with me, still standing, ready to fight through the next nitty gritty of life. When the worst is behind you, the world can be seen in a whole new way. But even if you’re still in the thick of battle, I believe you can always see God. I wrote this song to encourage those who feel like they’ve ended up alone in their fight. Battles can be tough and there is sometimes no clean-cut ending, but people need to hear that we are Unbreakable because God is always standing with us. The song is also from the live event, Freedom Fighters, which stars Jennifer as the lead cast member. The album will be released mid-summer 2017.
