专辑简介

Like many of my songs, this one was inspired by a book I've edited for Superversive Press. In this case the work in question is the upcoming release of Tales of the Once and Future King, which is a majestic anthology of Arthurian stories of all types, including an epic poem by myself. All these varied contributions are brilliantly blended together into one inspiring overall tale in which the Bard of Britain is wandering a devastated England, telling his stories and performing his plays to rekindle hope in the hearts of the suffering people and give them strength to retake the land.

I recorded two versions of this song, this original unplugged version and a later more orchestral one. This version is intended to reflect a travelling theatre troupe performing for the downtrodden people of a poor village to lighten their hearts.
