About the band: Founded by front man Miami Dan Yoe with his two college roommates in the 1970s and highly regarded as a Southern sunshine, surf/pop band, Miami Dan & the Hayes Street Band has recorded with luminaries from the music world including David Marks, Probyn Gregory, Gary Griffin, Randell Kirsch, Philip Bardowell, Barry Darnell, Randall Bramblett, Paul Hornsby, Chris Hicks and Tommy Talton. The Macon-based studio band has released three albums to date: A Time in the Spotlight (2007), Star of the Beach (2010) and Jericho (2013).
