Their improvised repertoire blends post-bop, indie-rock, hip-hop, with urban sounds and live electronics and the name R.A.M. comes from the last names of Venezuelan bass player Bambam Rodriguez, Turkish percussionist Ulas Aksunger and Romanian saxophonist Catalin Milea. Having attitude, humour, virtuosic playing, unconventional sounds, urban samples, powerful grooves, R.A.M.’s music is a very intense experience. “Something for Now” released in 2012 is the result of one day studio recording session where the trio got together to make music. This album contains only first takes it is completely improvised and no fancy edits were added. In this respect, this is the honest result of three people getting together to make "Something for Now". If you enjoyed this music you can support R.A.M. by simply spreading the word...
