Don Holmes is the founder and owner of HotBlueMusic, a music publisher registered with the performing rights organization, ASCAP, primarily designed to serve his own music creation. His involvement with the performing arts on a professional level started in 1973, teaching, performing, and writing music. He toured as a tenor with his college concert choir and was also the paid tour manager for a year. He toured full time at a young age, with WindVoice, a CCM/secular duo, (sometimes band) for five years; fronted for major artists and had major artists front for him. He has national FM radio airplay and has songs cut by indies or kept and placed on hold each month by the majors and the film industry. Don's guitar playing spans the spectrum of classic rock, country, concert level classical guitar, jazz and fusion, and along with his vocal performance, he has regular requests for both live performance and studio session work. His primary goal and that of HotBlueMusic is to write songs and music to be pitched to the music and film industries and for self-release.
