Has been 20 years that Sandro Haick does not releases a work just playing drums. In his past CDs devoted himself more to other instruments such as guitar, bass, electric and acoustic guitars, nylon 6 and 7-string guitars 6 and 12 steel strings, mandolin, keyboards, percussion and drums as well. The drums was his first instrument, when the 2-year-old his father a famous Brazilian drummer, gave to him a special drums set, then no stopped playing until the 14 years, when he began to study music, and playing instruments like the acoustic and electric guitar, and piano. "KAKO" has 7 Sandro’s new instrumental songs and 2 others with the Cuban pianist Pepe Cisneros, and also the participation of great musicians and experienced technicians and professionals. After strolling through the musical universe, from pop, rock, jazz, instrumental, to sideman for many Brazilian artists, the need to recording a work directed solely and exclusively to the battery. The proposal of this project is to be the first of a series in which each one Sandro will play a different instrument. This album also has a particularity, are used original equipment of years 60 and 70 as drums, synthesizers, bass pedals and wind instruments, referring to a special and unique sound.
