Stand By is the first single from John Fishell's upcoming release. Firmly in the "rock" tradition, John draws upon such influences as Queen, Led Zeppelin, Cheap Trick, Foo Fighters, and Stone Temple Pilots, along with hints from other more eclectic sources. John has a unique "baritone" lead vocal along with a concise pop songwriting sensibility, interesting use of melody, producing and engineering talent, and a keen sense of drama built in to every song.
