In October of 2003 Dorian Tucker and Chris Jones long time friends became roommates. Immediately Jezebel was born. “Whether it was the fact that we had so many damn instruments between the two of us that they furnished our living room or if it was our dissatisfaction with the local Southern California music scene by large, I can’t remember…but probably a bit of both”-Dorian. Michael Croft, at that time had recently relocated to San Diego. Soon paths met, bonds formed and the core of Jezebel’s foundation was solidified. They wrote. Wrote nonstop and played their first live show only one month after beginning the project. And what is it that they write about…well, it’s indecent, dramatic, sprinkled with envy and presented with happiness. With so many different emotions these tracks are able to be selfishly manipulated to fit whatever mood you’re in.
