The duo of aspiring artists who go by the name of CGE (Marco and Young Rob) are tearing up the local hip-hop scene by dropping their mix of melodic and fulfilling tunes to please their rapidly growing fanbase.

Born in Maywood and Chicago respectively, the young artists have always had it in them to make it big in the music industry. With Marco’s dad himself being an artist and Young Rob naturally having what it takes to be a seasoned entertainer, they decided to come together and put their skills to good use on the path leading to their commercial success, which they believe is just around the corner.

One of their most notable performances after collaborating with each other came at Chicago's First Annual Hip-Hop Summer Fest where the crowd went absolutely berserk as soon as they came on stage. Currently having set up shop in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs, they are hosting shows and dropping tunes left, right, and center. On top of that, their latest music video titled Said & Done is just one of the many tunes which pay homage to their unique brand of music which has gained the applause of the crowds due to their extremely catchy vibe. They are also working on the debut mixtape titled Trending Topic, which is set to release sometime in the near future.

It’s time the world of hip-hip and R&B took note of the band which is introducing the crowd to “Hood Pop”; the music genre of their very own making.
