Carlton DJ Muzikal Smith In 2001 while at the age of 19, Carlton Smith a.k.a DJ Muzikal was given the contract for TNG Records by Mr. Warren Carter, the leader of a small band name The Peoples Choice. During this time Mr. Carter was a bit sick and decided that a young person would be better off carrying the name forward. One week later Mr. Carter died as a result of a heart attack. Twelve years later, the name The New Genesis Records Bahamas Entertainment is still alive and pushing forward. Carlton Smith hails from Steventon Exuma, Bahamas. With music as his influence he has surpassed many. With his ability to play any basic musical instrument. He is seen as a genious in his field for his age. Now thirty one years of age, Carlton DJ Muzikal Smith is our President of The New Genesis Records (TNG RECORDS BAHAMAS ENTERTAINMENT). He has a vision for the company and in 2013 will be extending the artist list and the business of our company. He is a visionary in his own way, by far better than many and a leader in whom we put out trust in musically. DJ Muzikal has recorded music for many Bahamian artists. He is known for many singles such as Swell Time, Kicka Boy Juice and Fluid In My Knee. He released two (2) major albums. 1. Swell Time 2. Pretty Young Girls Both albums combined sold over 2000 units. Today, DJ Muzikal is in the process of recording a solo project dubbed "SUMMA TYME". He has collaborated with other artists such as Jah Troy - Wonderfully Made Riddim, Ray Ewing - TNG Records Senior Producer and Jah Hem on DJ Muzikal's Gender Riddim. Summa Tyme promises to be a smash, with HIT singles upon HIT singles. DJ muzikal, in an interview told the reporters that he wishes to become the first solo act with a Bahamian record company to win a grammy award.
