DUNE HILL is a Hard Rock band from Recife, Brazil. Formed in 2009, since then they have been increasingly present in the local and national Metal & Hard Rock scene. In 2012 their first EP, "Big Bang Revolution" was released with positive reviews by brazilian websites and magazines. After 2 years promoting the EP and playing gigs with such acts as Dr. Sin, Andre Matos, Enforcer, Terra Prima and Cangaço, the band released their first full-album "White Sand" in April 2014. The album was recorded, mixed & mastered at Mr. Mouse Studio based in Olinda - Brazil, by producer Leo D. and co-produced by Daniel Pinho, singer of Power Metal act Terra Prima (http://www.terraprima.net/).They have also played renowned festivals, such as FIG 2013 and Abril Pro Rock 2014. "White Sand" follows the same thematic concept as the EP, focusing on an apocalyptic scenario. Stories of political change, romantic yearning and mindless fun entwine. The album's title track tells the story of a man who is followed by his own shadow, and is inspired by the doppelgänger mythos and Albert Camus' book, "The Stranger".  The artwork was done by artist Rodrigo Bastos Didier. He specializes in character creation and design, and is a Gnomon School alumn. He has won international drawing contests promoted by celebrities like Jackie Chan and Bumblefoot, and has also drawn the cover for the brazilian melodic metal band Angra "Secret Garden" album. In 2014, DUNE HILL has also released their first music video, choosing the song "Miracles" as the album's first single.
