Halfdream is an instrumental post-metal project founded in 2012 by Marcelo Murata (referred as Marc from now on) in São Paulo, Brazil. Marc started playing the guitar considerably late, at 20, but since then he's been making music on his own. After years writing songs (and collecting hundreds of unfinished ones), in 2012, he finally decided to work on his first album and came up with a name for this music project: Halfdream. Halfdream is Marc's completely solo project, being him the producer, songwriter and the only instrumentalist, as he takes the role as the guitarist while every other instrument is played electronically. Working on Halfdream, Marc tries to be as self-sufficient as possible, recording and mixing his tracks and designing everything related to the project, such as the logo, the cover arts and the official website.
