Clint Martin-Burning Bridges Written, Arranged, Produced, Performed, Mixed and Mastered by Clint Martin Copyright 2014. BMI Burning Bridges is the Instrumental album I've always wanted to make. The title has many meanings for me, As I feel my life as a musician is at a crossroads in many ways. It also refers to the term Bridge, as in after the verse, or pre chorus, or middle eight. I've tried to make the music interesting in other ways than providing the traditional "bridge". This wasn't a rule or guideline I was stuck to, but for the most part the songs do not have a bridge. This project also took place while updating my studio. I used five daws to record with in total and had to learn my way a bit. The most recent songs are the best (sound quality wise) as I began to adapt to my new work flow. I believe there is something for everyone on this album, from Rock to Jazz, or Fusion to blues, I tried to explore and compose music that I could appreciate as a listener.
