"Dasher the Dependable Reindeer" was written and concieved to accompany a NEW Chrsitmas story. "Santa's Sories - The True Tale of Dasher" written by Alan Jania. Patrick Henning and Mr. Jania are long time friends from college. Wanting to leave their grrandchildren's generation with a new tale of Christmas, the two collaborated with Jania authoring the book "True Tale of Dasher" and Henning composing the song and assisted with the lyrics by his son Tim Henning and daughter-n law Sarah Henning.
