If you like the old school greats like the Dramatics, Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Van dross and the like. You will enjoy this 'new' old school soulful style offered by David Washington. You may remember David from his time with the legendary Detroit group Chapter 8 in which he co-founded with Michael J. Powell and also was also the person who enlisted Anita Baker to join them. As you might expect, his sound is polished and sophisticated in the same fashion as Chapter 8 and Anita Baker's. David showcases his bass playing abilities too on the jazzy "Turn the page". Listen to the classy re make of chapter 8's "Ready for your love" which he wrote and was the first hit for the group.
