An eclectic mix of Beatles' tunes written before the end of 1965, done SFUZZI style. Arrangements include everything from jazz voicings to hard Reggae groove. Harmony arrangements are done with a unique flavor, and several rather obscure tunes are included as a tribute and rediscovery of the Lennon/McCartney early years of melodic genius. Veteran Northwest USA musicians collaborate with Italian (Torino) jazz musicians to rediscover the melodic genius of early Lennon/McCartney compositions. A chance encounter in Nice, France on the Day of Music, Summer 2001, led to this ongoing collaboration. Several other Sfuzzi East/West projects are available, including The Reluctant Prophet (an early Dylan tribute), and Spaghetti Western (country western classics and original tunes).
