Since moving to Portland Oregon, trumpeter John Dover has been building his professional music career as a solo artist. From obtaining an Artist and Clinician status with Bach trumpets, to performing with such artists at Patrick Lamb, Bo Ayers, Tony Starlight, China Forbes, Sean Wagner, Jonah Luke, Sean Ghazi, Opera Theater oregon, the Choppers Brass Quintet, to working with his own groups the JDQ and the Legacy Big Band, John has proven his versatility and musical approach to any musical style that he is brought in to perform. The music on this album is the expression of his many experiences musically and personally.
