Allie Farris’s sound might be described as a fresh mix of Carole King and Carly Simon with varied influences ranging from Tom Petty, to Bruce Springsteen, to Electric Light Orchestra. Allie began playing piano when she was six. By the time she was 14, she was turning her poetry into music; she formed her first band when she was 15, studied jazz voice and piano at the University of North Texas, and attended the famed Berklee College of Music in Boston before moving to Nashville. Allie’s contemporary, piano-driven songs are melodic, thought-provoking and exceptionally memorable.

Allie is currently promoting her latest recording “Live In Nashville”, recorded in front of an enthusiastic audience at The High Watt in November, 2013. Produced by Gus Berry, the album features Gabe Dixon on keyboards and background vocals, Ben Jackson on drums and percussion, Nathan Dugger on guitars, and Brad Shapiro on bass.
