Floating was made between April 2009 and April 2010. The album was recorded and mixed by Alex Koenig at Andreen Studios in Austria, and mastered by Martin Sheer. The album was released on Floorspot Records in March 2011.

The twelve songs on the album are an excerpt from the solo and colaborative songwriting of Kerstin Steiner and Jonnie White. The majestic You Saw The Sun is the first collaborative work by the whole band.
