Minister Donna McDowell has been involved in the work of the ministry from childhood. Born in Rockford, Illinois she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to complete her undergraduate studies in business management at Georgia State University. She continued on to obtain a Master's of Business Administration in marketing at Clark-Atlanta University. Since that time she has served as a sales consultant in the pharmaceutical industry. In 1988 God revealed his call upon her life to proclaim the gospel. While awaiting God's designated time and season to move forward in the teaching ministry, she faithfully served in prison ministry, music ministry and Sunday school ministry. Upon the inception of Agape International Ministries, Inc. founded by her husband, Pastor Lucius McDowell, Minister McDowell merged forward as the instructor for the New Member's Orientation Class. She currently serves as a faculty member of the Agape Bible Training Institute for ministers. In June of 2001, Minster McDowell received her ordination from Bishop Keith A. Butler, Pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center, Southfield, Michigan. In July, 2001 she completed a Christian counseling training course at Grace Ministries International of Marietta, GA. She currently matriculates at Psychological Studies Institute, with intentions of becoming a licensed clinical psychologist with Christian emphasis. Minister McDowell serves as the CEO of Agape International Ministries Community Development Corporation, an extension of the ministry from a community perspective. Minister Donna McDowell embraces her assignment from God to encourage, instruct and assist believers in spiritual maturity. She is confident that through the leading of the Holy Spirit and by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit this can be accomplished. Minister McDowell honors and cherishes her husband, Pastor Lucius McDowell and their two children Zoe and Victoria. She knows that her success in carrying out this assignment is reflective of all their love and support.
