Larry "L-Day" Davis IV, otherwise known as Lawrence Davis, is an American songwriter from Vallejo, California. Born on February 29th, 1992, Lawrence has been between the bay area and Hawai'i since the age of eight and grew up influenced by a wide variety of family, culture and music. Lawrence began producing beats at the age of twelve as a tool of expression and later decided that beat production was not enough for him to fully express himself. At the age of thirteen, Lawrence turned to songwriting in an attempt to express himself even further and found motivation in perfecting his own craft. At the age of fourteen he randomly created and shouted out his own nickname, L-Day, after he won his first and only tennis match during gym class at Benicia High School. Graduating in the class of 2010, most of his peers knew him by L-Day through his music and high school classmate collab​oratio​ns. All throughout his teenage years L-Day has primarily wrote to his own beats along with a team he helped put together called "Recon" which consists of four close friends that share similar dreams. As time has progressed Larry Davis IV has been more focused on songwriting coming out with smoked out music and sticking to delivering a euphoric vibe. Through attending music classes at Diablo Valley College and becoming an ASCAP songwriter, L-Day continues to seek for the proper knowledge needed to push forth in the music industry through collab​orating with others and social media networking via Datpiff, Thizzler, Soundcloud, Instagram and other websites to help build his fan base.

Rio Root is an American record producer and engineer from Berkeley, CA. Born on January 9, 1996, he always had a creative imagination and a passion for music. Surrounded by music at a young age, he was influenced to pick up guitar at age 7 by his father, beginning his first exploration of the music world. At age 8, Rio picked up his second instrument, the trumpet, finding even more love for the creation of music and sound and transferred that drive into music production at age 9, after getting his first laptop from his grandparents and finding a interested in Hip-Hop after being introduced to it by his brother.

In his middle school years he produced songs for his brother, who rapped at the time, and uploaded them onto myspace as a hobby. In his 8th and 9th grade school years, Rio found interest in electronic music and used it’s influence in his Hip-Hop production. Upon reaching high school Rio had met emerging artists from around the area who had taken an interest to his beats and produced songs on them as well, however he refrained from releasing songs on the internet until he was sure that his music was quality enough to be public. After taking some mixing tips from his cousin Aaron Temple and his producer, Kevin Farmpella, Rio created a Soundcloud his sophomore year of High school. During his junior year he saw he had great potential in his hobby music production and decided to pursue it as a career, spending most of his time away from school and sports creating music. As a senior in high school he worked closely with experienced mix engineer Craig Dukes until his second semester of his Freshman year in college at Diablo Valley College, where he studies Music Industry Business, Management, Songwriting, Piano, Production, and Engineering.

Throughout his years of producing Rio has gained inspiration from SF Bay Area music and culture; Hip-Hop in LA, Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Houston, Seattle and Chicago; Electronic music in the UK, Jazz, R&B, Blues, Film Score and various other genres. His music is comprised of slow tempo, deep and heavy bass lines and frequencies, fat kick drums, dark ominous and sorrowful melodic tones, and extending acoustic and cinematic stylization. His mixes are typically “spacey” sounding and full of movement.
