Ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Parks (a.k.a. bKp) achieves a world-music style all his own playing guitar, bass, percussion, and mbira dzavadzimu, sacred instrument from Zimbabwe. bKp's first album "Just Like the Sun" is a mixture of styles and influences, blending traditional Shona roots music with afro-pop, folk, rock, reggae and dub.
