As I sit here and think about the last decade of my life, the shows, the songs, the miles traveled, the friends who have come, and the ones who have slipped away, the lives I've lost to the ticking of time, and the new little ones I've come to love so much, ...and all the constants, the rocks that my roots cling to each day, the beautiful people that continue to stand by my side while I run down this crazy dream I'm chasing ... my soul smiles. It has all led me here... and here we are, wrapped up in a song together. That's where I choose to be. That's where the good stuff happens. Wrapped up in a song together... That's where the memories are made. That's where the blunders turn into belly aching stories that echo for years. It's my drug of choice. Running on empty and running blind, laughing my a** off the whole way, happy while always reaching for more, not having a clue what tomorrow may bring. God I love it, and I'm so grateful to all of you who have gifted me the opportunity to pursue being a Singin' Man. I truly hope you enjoy this new record, this evolution of my music with the Earthlings. This band is the one I always knew I'd find when the time was right. The time is now. Here we are.
