In this song, I wrote about my feelings towards "someone" who writes boring lyrics, and towards "myself." I think that "boring lyrics" are lyrics that don't consume one's inner self or one's life. I myself have a tendency to run away from writing lyrics that would cost me my life. This song is meant to stab at that weakness and sweetness.
