Travis Brown, an Ohio native, was born into music. At an early age he fell into the depths of Elvis Presley, George Jones, and countless other iconic musical influences. When he got his first electric guitar at the tender age of 13, his life changed forever, embarking on a musical journey that would never end, never waiver and never die. His father, strongly rooted in country music, pushed him to learn and play, while his mother gave him a strong heart and passion for live and love. Throughout his young life, he pursued the music of rock and blues artists he'd com to admire, while all along being pulled to his roots of country, gospel and blues. Along the path, playing and meeting gifted musicians, he longed for the creative embrace of his own music. While styles and fads change with time, the strong current flowed from within. Playing in front of audiences from around Ohio, opening for national acts and even traveling to NYC to follow his dream, a passion for his own brand of music was born. A music of purity, emotion, pain and pride. Now, after all the years of ups and downs, it is here, unadulterated and from the soul. A pure example of the heart of a country blues musician, I it's most basic form. Music is the blood of life, the air, the sorrow and the joy. One man's journey into his own heart.
