Oasis island sounds is one of washington d. C. 's top

caribbean bands. We have been together for over 15 years and have performed as far north as canada, and as far south as miami florida. We are unique in that our group consist of members from different islands in the caribbean as well as the motherland :africa. The group started as a group of college students who originated from the island of grenada decided to play music as a hobby. Once they graduated they all went their separate ways. Peter humphrey the bassist and vocalist decided to continue the legacy and pursue a career in music and so recruited musicians in the metropolitan area and maintained the "oasis" style. Kick back and enjoy a unique style of reggae music with latin and afro- caribbean influences.
