The Thurston Lava Tube are a psychedelic, experimental surf instrumental band from Leicester, England. The Lava Tube sound features an interesting range of vintage organs in addition to the traditional surf guitar line-up. They have made three albums since 2001... 1) Me Ka Nahaku (a collection of surf instrumental versions of Beatles' songs) 2) Move over Rover, let Clover take over 3) The Pink Elephant with Nipples for Tusks (this one includes a secret bonus live album in mp3 format) Their fourth album "The Thoughful Sounds of Bat Smuggling" will be ready in Summer 2006.
