V is a 20 year old emcee prodigy. At an early age he mastered the art of performing and using audience participation to ignite his shows. He has performed internationally in Paris, France as well as venues all over the United States. Eager to move forward in his musical career he is now recording for an album tentatively titled Code Switch, which explores stereotypes about young black males and provides solutions on how to destroy them. He is also equipped to take on any party scene with songs like “Swaggerific” and “Gettin' Hot” which makes listeners dance while staying relevant to current social issues. In addition to being a d**e emcee performing songs that bring to light issues of our times, he is also a teacher and lecturer. V leads workshops on poverty, self expression, violence, drugs, and global warming in a user friendly manner with the use of music.

Over the past several years of being a hip-hop performer, V has performed in a range of venues nationally and internationally. Specifically highlighting the following: Bastille Day (French Independence Day) in Paris, France (2007/ audience of approx. 4,000 people), as well as the Oregon Country Fair which attracts about 50,000 attendees over three days. V has shared the stage with celebrities such as Chris Tucker, Dr. Angela Davis, Zion I, and Ise Lyfe and has met big names such as T.I, Big Tigger, and Kenny Latimore. V has been featured on the front page of The Oakland Tribune, has created a PSA called Imagine Peace for KTOP cable network and was also interviewed by CBS.
