VIENTO CALLEJERO is a Los Angeles based Cumbia trio. The group is composed of Gloria Estrada (Guitar/Accordion), Federico Zuniga (Bass) and Gabriel Villa (Drums). The group represents the newest incarnation of the Cumbia movement. Together they bring a fresh approach to urban tropical music stripping it down to feature its rawest elements. VIENTO CALLEJERO has taken a unique approach to their musical endeavor by inviting and featuring a different guest vocalist for every performance.  The song “El Remolino” features guest vocalist Tony Sauza (aka Tone-Irie) of the group Cuicani. Tony is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays an eclectic mix of Afro-Caribbean music.
