"Seriously Cool was really a kinda journey for us, there were places on our last record that we were just too afraid to go, and places we weren't ready to go. We took what we were all about and just did it a thousand times better. Some of the songs were written and I just knew we needed to let the rest of the world hear them. When we had finished all the demos for our new album , a lot of the songs were quite character based and I liked the idea of trying to shape the way the song sounded with instrumentation and production, to reflect the story we were trying to tell. For example 'At The Pool' starts out quite serious, describing a female life guard of great beauty, but soon kicks into a huge colourful chorus singing lines such as "how I wish that she'd undress', returning to those teenage boyish feelings of mixed emotions. We've got tracks about noisy neighbours, female rock stars, angry dads, bitchy girls, and simple teenage life, i really don't know what more you could want." - Adam Denby Apple Shampoo is a two piece band consisting of Adam Denby and J.Buschenfeld, a couple of young gentlemen with a taste for Pop Punk and uplifting melodies.
