MeditativeFunk .Soulful… Michael Murani is a self-taught musician, writer, composer and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. For 15 years, he has performed all over the world serving as multi-instrumentalist, producer, writer and engineer for across multiple music genres. He has worked creatively with “UK Queen of Soul” Julie Dexter, UK artist Santessa and Latin songstress Malena Perez. He has also teamed with Lonnie Liston Smith, Donnell Jones and Mint Condition. With his “Meditative Funk” his distinct brand of healing and energetic sounds, Michael has played to thousands of music lovers. He has performed at the African American Heritage Festival, Atlanta Jazz Festival, National Black Arts Festival, and Montreaux Jazz Festival among others. In 2002 Michael released his first solo project Vibrations, followed by The Servant/Master in 2005 and his third effort, Meditations in 2010. From countries such as England, Sweden and Indonesia to local festivals, community events and national college tours, Michael’s universal appeal is a welcome harmonizing force that attracts diverse audiences.
