EPOCA is a young and successful band known for its ability to perform in various genres such as Jazz, R&B and Pop. The band was founded in 1994 by Daniel Diaz (voice, keys, and guitars), Moises Diaz (bass and keys), and Carlos Vega, Jr. (drums and percussions); three young guys that have played together since their adolescence. Since it’s formation, EPOCA has been invited to perform at well known venues such as: Universal City Walk, The Grand Olympic Auditorium, The LA Forum, The Crystal Cathedral, The Whiskey Club, as well as the Convention Centers at Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Riverside, among others. They have also participated at music festivals such as Winterfest, NicaFest, Festival De La Calle 8, Calvary Chapel Youth Fest, Victory Outreach National Convention, Church of God Festival, and Assemblies of God Fest. “Playing this fusion of musical styles is something that comes natural to us, we have done it since we were kids with the desire to perform something better than just ‘a good show’; we desire to bring music and lyrics that are relevant to our audiance.” said Daniel Diaz, the front guy for the band. EPOCA has also shared the stage with well know artists and public figures such as Jesus Adrian Romero, Ron Kenoly, Tren Corey, Chuck Smith, and Jerry Seville, additionally they have played with Abel Brito, Luis Enrique Espinosa, Eric Porta, Ruth Mixter, and Justo Almario, among others. On February 26th, 2010, EPOCA will release its self-titled album. This latest CD has 12 brand new songs written by the guys. The project promises to be a fresh approach towards Latin music, which will surprise and please all those that enjoy R&B, Jazz and Pop music.
