Jess Cannz, born Jesse Cannon, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, had music running through his veins at a young age. “I’ve loved music my whole life. My mother told me when I was a baby I used to dance to jiggles in commercials and my dad said he knew one day I would be involved in music”. He always had a thing for production and interests when it came to sound. When his father passed it really stuck to him and music was a way for him to express himself. In late 2006, Jess Cannz was introduced to FL Studio. This stamped the moment when music became a serious career path in his life.

Jess Cannz’s music is influenced strongly by aspects of Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Timberland, The Justice League, The Runners, Ludacris, and T.I. “I always saw myself doing production and creating beats, but I never thought I would actually become a rapper until I started working with my manager Tyler”. Cannon was introduced to Remuse in 2011. He and Mr. Resnick were introduced to each other during the first event Remuse Management hosted which was a benefit event for a good friend of his, at Club Reverb in Reading, Pennsylvania. That night Mr. Resnick was the one to introduce him to the stage for his performance.

The following day he and Mr. Resnick had a phone conference about further pursuing their partnership. Jess Cannz originally spoke with Mr. Resnick about only coming on as a producer, but in the course of a few short weeks Mr. Resnick convinced Jess Cannz to not just be a producer, but an artist as well. Since they first started to work together, Jess Cannz has performed at several showcases from Pennsylvania to New York as well as opening up for DMX in Reading, Pennsylvania February of 2013. He has also several online radio interviews and showcases across Pennsylvania to parts of New York. Jess Cannz has released two solo mixtapes under Remuse and has currently released his third project called “Canonic”.

Jess Cannz has released two new music videos off of his newest project “Canonic” for the songs, “Same Thing” featuring Jaysun of Dinero Ent. and “Take Off”. He performed alongside of Fred The Godson and Jaquae for his mixtape release event as well. He also is working on putting together mixtape projects for his artist Yung Dev, who is the first artist under his sub branch of Remuse, OMG (Ones Music Group)..
