Torsion has endeavored to step outside of the box: they are about making interesting, challenging music. Torsion focuses on songwriting that combines primal rhythms, strong melodies, and layers of 'Industrial' sequencing. Their music is a blending of organic sound with cold machines. This synthesis of sounds creates a unique experience that the band has dubbed 'Sensual Noise'. Torsion's music revolves around darker-edged themes. Some of the songs are inspired by unbalanced relationships and the instability and anger that occur between people; while other songs contemplate the times in a person's life where their self-assessment rates exceptionally low-where they feel worthless and alone. Another favorite subject matter is seduction, exploring the thrill of luring someone in and the guilty pleasure of such feelings. 2005 has seen the Release of Torsion's latest album "Faded." In supporting this album, Torsion will be touring the East coast of the United States, and Beyond.
