This album was 10 years in the making. The songs are from different times and places in my life that have helped to make the person I am today. I enjoy so many different types of music and these songs offer a glimpse into my soul and my take on the different styles I have to offer. "Chameleon" is a more guitar driven song about the beauty of women and how they have the ability to adapt to almost any situation. "Complicated" is the story of almost every relationship I have ever had and questions why the other halfs stuck around. "Everywhere" tells the tale of two lovers that just can't seem to leave what they have created behind and realizing that in the end love can be strong enough to fix almost anything. "Looking" is just that - looking for a woman that can be everything you have ever wanted rolled up into one. "My Heart" captures the struggle we often have within ourselves about our relationships and the thoughts of insecurity we experience, but find out in the end are unfounded. "Waiting" was written for my wife. It reflects on how no matter the obstacles, she has stood beside me, waited patiently. "Fire" was a song written many years ago with different music and sat on a shelf. Then a friend of mine introduced a little feeling into the song and it became what you hear here. A song about a long lost love and the desire to never let those memories fade. "The Promise" was the hardest song I ever wrote. It was taken from the experiences people deal with every day losing loved ones to Cancer and trying to cope with their loss. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my mind, heart, and soul and let others know!
