Genovesi plays tenor and as kid of 16 played with Richie's father Preston Love and sounds a lot like Stan Getz. Davey Polsen is a premier session player who can laydown whatever you want and has a wonderful feel for any kind of material put infront of him, and he plays alto & tenor on this work. Marty Marquez Like Polsen is a fine alto and Tenor man and does a marvelous job on his 2 cuts one up and one ballad. I need to metion Paul Parker a fine concert pianist who is a faboulous session player who's style will remind you of George Shearing. His 2 Naked solos celbrate intimate piano renditions of great ballads. We also have a great up coming Guitarist Jeff Sheffler doing a super rendition on Open Your Heart and backing up Richie on Smile of my Child and Richie's version of Open Your Heart. Brett Holihan is the son of Ray Holihan pianist for Sammy Kaye and does some relly nice things on Piano, Trumpet, and vibes on the two cuts I asked him to do. Camielle Moten is a super competent vocalist and a session player that you can depend on to sing exactly the way it's written or improvise if you ask her too. She sings all 3 parts on the back ground vocals on Touch of Love which features both Polsen and Genovesi. Camielle has 2 gospel CDs out and is a pastors wife. The way I work with the great tallent Ihave available to me is to take advantage of their creative ideas and turn them loose with only an idea from me of what I want. I think you will be bound to agree with that they gave what I wrote a wonderful life as music that is so soothing and sensual it is like an elixer of life. Two of the cuts "Before You Go" And "Touch Of Love" have a full string section from the Omaha Symphony and this is one of the rare occasions where I had an arrangements scored for these 2 pieces. It seems classical are more accustomed to playing it exactly as it is written, and they did a beautiful job on both pieces. Katy Schraeder wrote the arrangement, which really complements these two pieces.
