Jaywalker are playing original music written by the lead singer and songwriter Frank Potts. They have an 'Englishness' about them. The songs are catchy with hooks that stay in your head all day. The influences are wide and varied so that not one song ever sounds the same but you know it is Jaywalker. Some thought provoking and poignant lyrics do nothing to mask the strong rhythms and toe tapping beats. 'we went into the studio to try and capture the bands live sound so we recorded the album in a 6 hour session live' You can hear the drummer clicking the sticks to count the band in the vibrations of the high hat before the band come in sometimes. 'We left the clicks and noises in, what you hear is pretty much what you would have heard if you were standing in the room, we did nothing to mix it just left it how it was'
