Betty Steeles is an alternative independent artist based in North London, her music is influenced by strange, beautiful minds but also ugly and uncompromising situations. I’d call my music alternative melodic pop, but with hidden dark edges, she adores playing in not the most obvious settings, such as Sofar sounds, book shops, churches, event halls, art galleries gardens ect. As well as conventional venues. In the past Betty has collaborated with the Nextmen with a light summery song called Whisper up, and BdSd a dance producer and has a song Where are You placed on a quirky dark independent film called Malice in Wonderland. She has worked on songs with Dance producer BdSd. Toured Europe, London and around the UK. She is now working independently and recently released 2 Independent EP’s Where I Be and Flow Flow Flow available on iTunes and Amazon. With new collaborations in Sweden and some exciting writing plans to come.
