Gathering Time blends the socially conscious folk-pop of Peter, Paul & Mary with the rock energy and harmonic complexity of Crosby, Stills & Nash, with a bit of The Birds and a jot of Joni Mitchell. Equally adept at faithfully recreating a '60s folk-rock classic, re-imagining a traditional tune, or crafting an insightful, musically interesting original, their creed has been to rock up a folk song, folk-up a rock song, and create a sound with deep roots in the folk world that does not require the listener to be a folkie to appreciate.

Their head-turning harmonies have been "getting a beehive full of buzz" on the northeastern folk circuit for nearly a decade.
