I originally came up with the groovy riff to "Bad" while waiting in line to audition for "America's Got Talent". Then when a dance troupe of young ladies started dancing around me to the riff I knew I had to put words to it. Now the lyrical content is kinda spooky to me. The first draft of the lyrics was based on the fact that I play bad boy roles in many horror movies. But on Cinco De Mayo of 2012 I was struck by a car while riding my bicycle home from hosting karaoke and waking up on the hospital bed as a close friend was on the phone with my mother about to tell her I was on my death bed. So ... the second draft of the lyrics took on an undertone of the supernatural forces. True story. There ya have it gang. OH! And the song is also featured in the soundtrack to the feature film ".357: Six Bullets to Revenge" which is out on dvd and cable tv. SHARK on the music scene and SHANE DEAN on your movie screen.
