Gabby Gordon’s self-titled EP is her first fully-produced body of work since her acoustic release ‘Gabrielle - Live in the Studio.’ For this project, Gabby recruited the talents of producer Marshall Altman (Ingrid Michaelson, Marc Broussard) and music partner/drummer Ronen Gordon to put together a dynamic set of original songs that take you inside Gabby’s world through her powerful and soulful vocals, lyrical perspective and pop-driven production. The EP was recorded and mixed in Nashville and was mastered by Gene Grimaldi at Oasis Mastering in Los Angeles. The EP kicks off with ‘Tightrope’ a melodic and upbeat tune that expresses love’s uncertainty. On the second track, ‘Without You’, Gabby beautifully reflects the conflict of hellos and goodbyes, drawing from her own experience of having moved around many different countries from an early age. In the third track ‘Underground ’ Gabby shares her first-time experience of coming to a bustling melting pot like NYC, which inspired the songs mood and edge. Perhaps the most personal song on the EP is ‘Worry’. It’s a song that will leave you suspended in a moment in time, through Gabby’s uncanny and honest conversation with herself. Gabby’s unique reflections on her life experience are poured into this debut EP. Its authenticity, soaring vocals and great production will appeal to a large variety of music lovers.
