简介
The 38th presentation from Stories In Trance belongs to Yaven with his first solo release. This is Zeal. Yaven is the moniker for U.S based producer Garrett Price and those who are familiar with the Stories In Trance back catalogue will remember his beautiful debut track 'Find The Sky' featuring prominently on 'In Quarto EP' (SIT #20). Along similar lines to that brilliant first appearance now comes his wonderfully feel good follow up, Zeal. Relentlessly engaging from start to finish, Zeal combines constantly evolving melodic touches and beautifully delicate layering within a catchy and joyful lead hook. One to really put a smile on your face! Out to support the original here, we give you two equally imaginative yet contrasting takes on Zeal. First is Stories In Trance stalwart Max 'Stealthy' Szalko, once again proving his wide ranging production ability. Max is a consistently top performer, as a plethora of superb originals and remixes have proved time and again. 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it' is the approach Stealthy wisely takes with his '...presents Afterside Remix', sticking closely to the original's well defined components but adding the usual touch of Max Stealthy purpose giving the finished offering a more driven, expansive feel. And finally, we give you the Alexander One & Davide Battista Club Remix to add an element of power to proceedings. Italians Alexander One (Petrone Carmelo) and Davide Battista (Gabriele Stefanini) have made several outstanding appearances for Stories In Trance, including brilliant reinterpretations of Max Stealthy's 'Arrinera' (SIT #25), White Motion's 'Solis' (SIT #28) and under their BB Sound alias the seminal 'Oblique' (SIT #33), so we know what they are capable of. And this remix does not fall short of their high standards, as through some subtle yet effectual tweaks and the benefit of their production expertise they give the track a darker feel, which really contrasts the uplifting essence of the original and superbly balances the package. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way. As our story continues, we really hope that you enjoy our thirty-eighth release! Kind regards and happy days! Matt Carter / Thomas Carter Stories In Trance
