Have you even questioned your on motives? Exposed is an album that explores these types of questions. The first desire behind this project was for God to expose me to the condition of my own heart. The second purpose was to expose my heart and share my struggles with others who may be going through the same things in their walk with Christ and in life. Thirdly I wanted to expose people or at least give them a glimpse of God's Love. Thus, every song on the album flow in one of three veins or a combination of the three. "Tell" This song discusses where I was at mentally before Christ, where I am at in Christ, and what I currently to do as a servant of Christ which is tell the Gospel. "Feel Good" Everyone at some point or another searches for something to make them feel good. Unfortunately, the feel good most people discover is one that is only temporal and leaves them hungering for more. As for me I've found my Feel Good in Christ and that feel good is eternal "Exposed" Their are a lot of people who are blind to their own ways. This song is about pleading with God to show me me for me. The world has enough hypocrite without me. The word says, "the heart is deceitful above all things who can know it. I the Lord search the heart I know how to test it." Our hearts are so deceitful that can fool us. "Empty Ambitions" Anyone familiar with Hip Hop will caught on to the original artist & song that motivated this one. My ambitions before Christ and my ambitions now that I'm in Christ hostile against one another. Any ambitions that tries to raise up against the one on the throne of my heart has to be put to death. "Got Me Like" If you don't know the Lord then this song and the motivation behind it will never be understood. To know Christ and to be in him results in his Holy Spirit living within you. His Holy Spirit living inside you will make you feel some type of way. The Spirit will have you go places you would regularly go, say things you would regularly say, and see beauty in the ugliest of situations. " Lights" God has made each one of us as lights and his ultimate light is inside of us. We are called to let this light shine in the darkest corners of our world. Light your lights. "Unconditional" This is a song dedicated to my wife and all the married couples. Unconditional love will see a marriage through till the end and thus achieve the purpose in which God intended it to serve. No I'm not perfect naw, made my mistakes and all, but I still want unconditional love. "Enough of You" Sometimes we can get to a point where we believe we can get enough of Christ! When we get to such a point it important to remember that we can't ever get enough of him. The moment we feel this way is the moment we began to let our hearts deceive us. "Ransom" We were all held hostage by sin at some point, but God in his unfailing love gave his only beloved son as ransom payment to set us free. This song discusses the type of love that would make you die for your enemy, cry for your enemy, lay down your life, cause you to intercede, cause you to suffer bleed!
