Javon “Vocab” Parker Brief Biography Born July 27, 1983; Vocab is a Virginia native who now resides in Chesapeake. He is a lyricist, spoken word artist, and actor who first began writing in the winter of 2007, performing spoken word in the winter of 2008, and acting in the winter of 2009. He has incorporated poetry in plays and is a sensation to watch perform on stage. He has explored the world of hip hop and gospel rap and is deemed one of the illest lyricists in the area unsigned with a drive that is remarkable. Some of the topics that have been expounded upon in his works are religion, politics, and life in general, love, hate, relationships, sex, goals, and any current events that may strike his interest. In the next five years he sees his craft as a door way to publishing books, CD’s, participating in competitions, hosting open mic venues, documentaries, lending his services to organizations whose efforts may be beneficial to the well being of the communities, and eventually being signed to a publishing company, record label, and/or pursuing a career in acting.
