The Trio Effect band comes with a style of Rock and Fusion, and it is Progressive. Tim Ludwig – bass. "Tim Ludwig has been playing bass for over ten years and has been in several groups since picking up the instrument. He has filled in for a number of rock bands. Tim has played in the rock group Paper Scissors from 2005 to 2007. They recorded and produced a CD. He has also played for a number of churches, some being Harvest Chapel and a number of College campuses. In the year 2005 Tim studied with bass guru Bill Dickens. As of late Tim has formed a funk/groove/fusion trio with fellow musicians Titus Nesbitt and Dave Oriente." David Oriente-drummer. Currently David attends Northern Illinois University and majors in Percussion Performance under Dr. Greg Beyer, Robert Chappell, and former P.A.S President Rich Holly. He currently performs in the NIU Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Ronnie Wooten as well the Percussion Ensemble under Dr. Greg Beyer and Robert Chappell. He has performed and taught with the NIU Huskie Marching Band under Dr. Thomas Bough. David is studying for and will be assuming the role of drumset percussionist in the world-renowned NIU Steel Band under the direction of Cliff Alexis and pan virtuoso, Liam Teague.David has developed a unique sound utilizing pecision-based rudimental techniques and graceful musicality in his approach to the drumset. His influences range from such drumset artists as Steve Smith, Thomas Lang, Jojo Mayer, Ney Rosauro, Dom Famularo, Tim Genis, Evelyn Glennie, Jim Chapin, and Shannon Lucas to 20th century minimalist composer Steve Reich. Titus "Ti-Do" Nesbitt— piano, fender Rhodes, keyboard, and organ. He was born in Champaign, IL. He has been playing the piano for 15 years. He went to Parkland College, and began listening to and playing jazz at the age of nine. In the spring of 2002, he played for the Parkland jazz combo for three years under the direction of Kevin Hart. He graduated with a double degree, an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Fine Arts. He graduated in fall 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz. He has played for the EIU Lab Band and Jazz Combo II under the direction of Simon Rowe, Sam Fagaly, Paul Johnston, Mike Jones and Kyle Slemmer. In the spring of 2003, he played with Willie Atkins, a well-known saxophone player from the St. Louis area, Emanuel Harrel-Drums, and Corey Christianson-Guitar. He also shared the stage with great jazz organist Joey Defrancesco, drummer Byron Landhaum, and guitarist Paul Bollenback.
