"hitme&miggy" is a Japanese female instrumental duo, successfully bring together elements of jazz, Brazilian, Classical to create impressive melody and unique harmony. hitme plays sax, flute and pianica(keyboard-harmonica), and miggy, piano.This CD has 11 of their original songs. Their instruments sing about little happy moments, and discoveries of small wonder. Their songs are about simple everyday events but will really touch your heart. ◇How this album was recorded This album was recorded in MIYAJIMA Migiwa(miggy)'s living room in the suburbs of Tokyo on fine, early December days. We sat talking on a sofa in the warm room with a beautiful sunshine streaming through the windows, and when we got tired we took breaks and had coffee and cookies. The recordings went on like that. Unlike recording in sound-proof studios, we sometimes had to wait for rowdy elementary students passing by outside the windows, and we happened to record birds singing in the garden. There were many unbelievable happenings, but all these add to the atmosphere we have packaged into this CD. We hope you will enjoy our music together with the unusual atmosphere in which it was recorded. このCDは2005年12月初めのよく晴れた日に、東京の郊外にある宮嶋みぎわの自宅リビングで録音しました。さんさんと日が差し込むあったかい部屋でソファーに腰掛けて打ち合わせし、疲れたらコーヒーとクッキーで一休み･･･そんなレコーディングでした。遮音性の高いスタジオとは違って、窓の外を通る小学生のはしゃぎ声が過ぎ行くのを待ったり、小鳥のさえずりが思いがけず録音されたり･･･ありえないハプニングも盛りだくさんでしたが、その時の雰囲気がそのまんまパッケージされてこのCDに収められています。わたしたちの曲と同時にこの独特の空気感も楽しんでいただけたらうれしいなあと思っています。(hitme&miggy）
