Mike Mccoy & Voices United a twenty-five member group that consist of minister of music, choir directors, preachers, Sunday School Teachers, Evangelists, Pastors and Praise & Worship Leaders. Their ministry has been recognized for excellence in gospel music. On October 27, 2000 the group was nominated for the \"Best Local Gospel Group\" in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area by the Minister of Music Threefold Music Group. In 2006 the group won the Gospel Heritage Praise & Worship choir Competition. Also in June 2006 the group won Christianhangsuite $5,000 Gospel Slam Finale also in Washington DC Area! They have shared the stage and work with some of the best artist in the genre including, Vickie Winans, John P Kee, Byron Cage, Stephen Hurd, Patrick Lundy, Richard Smallwood, Jonathan Nelson and Yolanda Adams and many others.
